Hampshire Wedding – Lainston House

Our final wedding of the season, a Hampshire Wedding – Lainston House. Now here is a team that know how to run a wedding and anyone that offers to get me a coffee is amazing as far as I am concerned. I ended up planning this wedding on the recommendation of the photographer, Paul Rogers, with whom I had worked before. Lovely when the work comes via another supplier.

This is about Veronica and Ilia, both Russian, but living and working in London and two of the busiest people I know. Hence the reason for a wedding planner. The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony, but it was Eric the owl who stole the show! We had arranged for him to fly in with the rings, Eric has other ideas and flew into the trees, with the real rings and this meant a job for maintenance and a borrowed ring from the best man. I have to say though it was the talking point of the whole wedding.

Another brilliant team made this happen, Paula Rooney, flowers to die for. Tartuffi cakes. Natalie was caught in the kitchen hoovering it up! the fabulous Sean Smyth from MLC discos and my go to man for a party and some musician friends of mine provided the live music for the ceremony and drinks. The London Jazz trio, thanks Jim, Ozzy and Eric. Finally to the brilliant and uber talented photographer that took these images. I love working with Paul and we will be doing it again next year.
