2016 My wedding highlights
WOW….what a year we have had a LPW. This is 2016 My wedding highlights. A wedding season that started quite late, our first wedding at the end of May and we were finished in November. A year though that pushed us out of our comfort zones, challenged us in every way possible and gave us our first destination weddings. It has been nothing short of incredible. I have to give massive thanks to the amazing couples that trust myself and Natalie to help plan their special days. There is not a day that goes by when I am not so very grateful that I get to plan weddings for a living.
This year has seen the business thrive, we now have our own London wedding venue, Bloomsbury House and we manage all of the weddings held there. In 2017, Natalie will be looking after all of them.
We have an office in the marina in Leigh on Sea and I work looking out at all the boats, its awesome. Natalie works more and more with me and eventually she will work with me full time. We have some serious plans in the pipeline for 2017 to expand the business and of course we have our amazing private clients for this year as well. In fact August and September are going to be crazy!!! but brilliant.
We also launched Louise Perry Events in october to cater to both private and corporate clients that wanted help planning their parties and events. It has it’s own website, so do have a look.
On a personal level, I have learnt a lot about myself whilst running the business. I embarked on some life and business coaching early in the year, which was wonderful, with the amazing Polly Alexandre. She gave me focus and helped me with my consistency. She also helped me on a personal level, as I’d had quite a tough time, following something that happened a couple of years ago and I had struggled to put it behind me, always difficult when your trust is broken, so 2016 was an emotional roller coaster, but the love I witnessed just blew me away. I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings, more love, lots and lots more love that’s for sure.
As Tyler Knott Gregson said “I love you, in ways you’ve never been loved, for reasons you’ve never been told, for longer than you think you deserved and with more than you will ever know existed inside me.”
Huge thanks to my photographers, whom I love working with and whose images you see here. Robin Ball Jez Dickson, Paul Rogers, Guy Collier and James Davidson
