06 Dec Surrey Wedding
Surrey Wedding. At Louise Perry Weddings, we plan weddings across the UK and overseas and we plan a lot of marquee weddings. We really love everything about them, the blank canvas and the chance to create something amazing. In the heat of the summer and the height of the World Cup, we headed down to Surrey for a really beautiful marquee wedding. We planned this slightly differently. We met with Sarah and Elliott about 12 months prior to the wedding to chat about their plans and then we drew up a proposal and planning timeline for them to work with and handed over our recommended suppliers. They then went away to plan their Surrey wedding themselves.
We met with them about two months before the wedding to talk through everything and then we turned up onsite the day before to work on the marquee build and the set up. In those two months, we had pulled together schedules and contacted suppliers and pulled the whole thing together from their plans.
The weekend was one of the hottest of the year and to say the set up was hot, was an understatement. We were literally melting!! as was everyone else. There was a lot to do, amazing production, hanging chandeliers, and hundreds of deliveries, but by about 7pm that night we were done. We just had to deal with more heat the next day and the England V Sweden game on during the drinks reception. Fortunately they had opted for a long drinks reception and so those guests that were secretly watching the match could.
Huges thank you to the suppliers that really made this happen: Carey Macey, Alexandra Hire, Alfresco Hire, Abraxus Lighting, The Cheesecake Band, Well Dress Tables, Storm Make up, The J Tones, Wedding Fireworks, The Herb Kitchen, Milk Street Kitchen and the handful of wonderful images you see here from Ben Moore
