Chris and Nicole – A London Wedding

This is about Chris and Nicole – A London Wedding. Early August, peak wedding season and so we came back to London for the very elegant London wedding of Chris and Nicole. They found me online and originally thought they wanted a rustic barm style wedding. How far removed this turned out to be. Just goes to show the wedding planning often evolves and sometimes can go in a different direction altogether.

Both from Denmark and about to settle in London, they wanted something that there Danish guests would love, hence the change of style and feel of the day. My good friend Cecilia Lavin from Peyton Events, with whom I have worked many times, suggested Lancaster House. I didn’t even know the place existed, well this house is just stunning.

This was a very classy wedding. Elegant, stylish and very fitting for this very elegant couple. We did through in a couple of surprises, a mariachi band to pay the guests down from dinner to the party, grabbing themselves a quick tequila shot on route.

We really did assemble the best team of suppliers. Chris and Nicole were happy to be guided by myself and Natalie and trusted all of our suggestions. We really did have a dream team. Lisa from Blooms and Bows designed the florals and the huge banquet set up. Amazing stationery by Kay and the team at Intricate Creations. GC Couture provided the couple with a macaron tower. We had a fabulous party courtesy of The jazz Dynamoes. Filming the whole day, another amazinf wedding supplier I now call my friend, Ollie Denny from Storybook Films and the man responsible for all of the images, Paul White.
