London Jewish Wedding

London Jewish wedding planner, Louise Perry Weddings planned this London wedding in less than six months from start to finish. My lovely London based French bride was Jewish and her soon to be husband was not. She was keen to have some elements of her faith and culture.

As a London Jewish wedding planner, we started by sourcing a suitable venue in London that could work with their guest numbers. The final choice was Trinity Buoy Wharf which I absolutely love. This is a dry hire venue in London and so you have to bring everything in from catering to furniture and all of the styling.

This blank canvas venue allowed us to create a wedding that said something about our couple. The florist we used was Emma Soulsby. She did a wonderful job designing a chuppah that wasn’t really a chuppah. We opted to have a very soft palate of green, white with blush. Long wooden banqueting tables for all of the guests for dinner. The tables were filled with flowers, candles and greenery.

Food and wine was a really important element of the wedding. Being French, the wine was especially important. We choose Caper and Berry to do the catering. They have catered many weddings for us over the years.

We decided against having Kosher catering as Emmanuelle felt that this wasn’t necessary for her Jewish guests. We had lot of children at the wedding, including the couples son. Having a crèche for all of the children was a necessity and we booked Safe and Sound who are always amazing with the children at our weddings.

We entrusted all the music to Matt Maurice. Music for the ceremony, drinks and also the party, were provided by him.
