17 Sep Marquee Wedding
I love a marquee wedding. As far as I am concerned they really are the best. You can create magic from absolutely nothing with a marquee wedding and even better when you get to plan it close to home. As an Essex wedding planner, we don’t actually plan many weddings in Essex. This year has been different. We have planned three. This one I can’t wait to share with you. Stylish, beautiful, very much like my bride, Emma.
Emma and Will came to me about 10 months before their proposed wedding date. Based in New Zealand they wanted someone closer to home to help them plan their wedding. As a UK wedding planner, I get a lot of couples that are based overseas but coming back to the UK to get married. Either they are expats, or one of them is, or in some cases they just want to come to the UK to get married and who can blame them.
We created a gorgeous wedding with the help of some rather awesome suppliers. Its always a team effort and boy we had quite a team. We wanted to have a marquee with a clear roof to create the look we were after. Faiytale marquees, were tasked with the job and I have worked with them a few times now. The worry was the weather. A clear roof can be very hot in the summer and what a hot summer we have had.
Liz, from Blue Sky flowers came up with he floral design, with guidance from the bride. The lighting was from our friends at Box Productions, who have helped on so many weddings in the last couple of years. There were other amazing touches from Nicki and Betty Lou Design, Couvert Hire and the food and food styling just added to whole visual from the geniuses at Kalm Kitchen.
Music from The Guilty Pleasures, Ultimate entertainment. Hair and make up from the team at Team Glam. My dear friend, Richard at White Dress Films tasked with filming the day and the very lovely Mary Anne resposnsible for the lovely images you see here.
