A Perfect English Country Wedding at Hedsor House

A flavour of Italy in Buckinghamshire

If you're considering getting married at the Hedsor House, this stunning Georgian country house in Buckinghamshire, just 40 minutes from London, offers endless possibilities for your celebration.

Rebecca and Alex’s wedding provides a great example of how you can use this beautiful venue for the different elements of your day. With the bridal suite offering a light-filled, spacious room for getting ready, and nearby pubs for the groom’s pre-wedding drinks, Hedsor House provides a great setting for the full day.

For their ceremony, Rebecca and Alex opted for the nearby 12th-century St. Nicholas’ Church, just 300 meters from Hedsor House, but you could also choose to marry on the estate itself. The venue’s expansive grounds are perfect for an outdoor ceremony, or you could opt for an indoor ceremony at the Centre Hall, or the Bedoir for more intimate ceremonies.

Afterwards, their drinks reception was held outside on the South Lawn, taking full advantage of the venue’s expansive grounds and stunning views. Their dinner was held in The Ballroom, which seats up to 150 guests, with round tables, but if you're considering long tables, check out Natalie and Astina’s wedding at Hedsor House for inspiration. Their wedding will also help you visualise a ceremony setup inside the house, providing ideas for making the most of this versatile venue.
