07 Apr She’s Getting Married – The Venue
As you are all getting to know, my lovely assistant Natalie is getting married next September and here on the blog we are following her plans. If you are currently planning your wedding in Essex, then this could be really useful.
As a wedding planners assistant, Natalie has access to a whole load of fabulous suppliers. The most difficult thing is choosing the right wedding suppliers for you. Its is no different for Natalie.
You need to think carefully about what type of wedding you want and the feel you want it to have. Natalie knew pretty early on that she didn’t want to hire a wedding venue in Essex, as she wanted something much more bespoke. She didn’t want to be just another bride and there are lots of venues that we refer to as wedding factories. They have so many weddings, that I don’t feel they make the couple feel special enough. We always have a thing at Louise Perry Weddings, that we don’t like package weddings. Lets face it, as a bride you are not a package and your wedding should be as individual as you are.
So, I hear you ask what has she decided. Natalie and Adrian have decided on a tipi wedding. A church ceremony followed by a reception in a tipi. More on the tipis location in another post. There was only one company we were going to speak to and that was Tentario. A huge thank you to one of my brides from last year, Anna, who found them for her wedding. In fact she got quotes from about four tipi companies, to compare, which you must do when planning your wedding. Tentario weren’t the cheapest quote, but I could tell early on that Becky and Andy would do an amazing job and they did. Nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond and the tipi was stunning. Now this is a really big one for me, going above and beyond. All of my suppliers have to do this and if they can’t, they won’t work with me. I expect a lot from them, but no more than I give myself. Tentario, tipi company in Sussex, tick every box of what I expect from an exceptional wedding supplier.
Next up, the location, the church, the photos, the music, the food and it goes on…….
