London Wedding. Aussie cool meets city chic
London Wedding. Aussie cool meets city chic.
The bride looked stunning in her Jenny Packham dress, not many brides could pull this off, but Victoria absolutely rocked it and then there was the laid back charm of Damien, her Aussie groom. Together they have created a beuatiful family, Ellie and Louis. You might notice Ellie stealing the show.
We planned two days of celebration, an intimate wedding on the Friday at Chelsea Town Hall followed by an gorgeous lunch at London House, big thanks to Ely at Gordon Ramsey’s for all her help, nothing was ever too much trouble for her. The next day, a party at their house in London, with friends, family, fabulous food and live music
I really loved planning this with our reluctant bride, who just blossomed on the day. Not only that but some special wedding industry people made this happen, Jen at Kalm Kitchen, unbelievable food and service, always prepared to go beyond what was required. I absolutely love that in a supplier. Special mention to the lovely Eloise who ran the party with such flare and authrority for someone so young. Jay Marsh, so lovely to be able to hear him play and sing again, he played for my clients Sue and Stephen last year. To Lisa my floral rock, so to speak, from Blooms and Bows. She is my go to with my random ideas and she makes it all happen and makes it look pretty and always with a smile on her face. To Julie and the team at 10 x 15, this was the first of two weddings we were working on together only a couple of weeks apart. They created a little bit of magic on the small terrace and finally to Guy Collier, whose images now surround me in my office. A chance meeting last year, funnily enough also at Sue and Stephens wedding, they had hired him to shoot their wedding and we hadn’t worked together before. Not only has this chance meeting led to a brilliant working relationship, but also a lovely friendship
