Wedding Flowers

Wedding flowers, how important are they to you?
The general advice is spend 10% of your overall budget on your flowers. This is obviously just a guide but it gives you a starting point.

When I say guide, you have to decide how important the florals are to you and your wedding. For some clients they want to spend big here and then save somewhere else, this is up to you and what the priorities are for your wedding.

Things to think about; the time of year, always nice to use seasonal flowers on your wedding day. What’s your favourite flower? What is your colour scheme? Do you like lots of foliage and greenery, or are you all about the soft learn academy, pretty of lots of flowers.

Now I know as a UK wedding planner that you are going to be saving things from Instagram and you probably have a whole Pinterest board devoted just to the flowers for your wedding. I love social media and it is really useful for me when sharing ideas with clients. We can really build up a picture of how their day might look.

The only thing I would say to you, is that you need to be realistic with the money you have to spend, you need to manage your expectations. You also need to find a great florist who can create your vision.

So how do you find them, well recommendation from someone you know and trust and have a look on Instagram for florists. Look at their style of work, does it fit with the feel and style of your day. Find work injury lawyer. If it does, then make contact with them and arrange a consultation to further discuss your wedding flowers.

I thought I would share just a few of the reception flowers we have created with our florists and of course our couples over the years.
